Terrain

South Korea has two major rivers, the Han River and the Nakdong River.  The Han River has many tributaries that feed it and it reaches the Yellow Sea after flowing through the center of Seoul. The Nakdong River begins in the Taebaek Mountains on the eastern coast and flows south past Busan and into the Sea of Japan.  Most of South Korea is mountainous while only 30% is low land suitable for farming.

  1. I was shocked to read that South Korea I so small in comparison to the united states, especially with such a high population density and so much manufacturing taking place. I thought your posts were very descriptive and interesting; well done.
